Call for nominations 2021: Alberto Masegosa Award
Announcement of the Alberto Masegosa Award 2021 for the Best Publication in Phlebology and / or Lymphology
The Spanish Chapter of Phlebology and Lymphology (SCPL), confer the Prize for the Best Publication on topics related to venous and lymphatic pathology. It receives the name “Alberto Masegosa” in honor of the Ex-President of the Chapter.
The financial award is € 2,500 (before taxes) and is sponsored by Laboratorios Servier SL.
BASES
1.- The First Author of the original works on Phlebology or Lymphology, published in a national or international journal, will be eligible for the Prize from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020.
2.- The same first author may only appear in a maximum of two of the papers presented. The work must not have received any award before or be presented simultaneously to other awards calls.
3.- Deadline for sending documentation: June 30, 2021 (inclusive).
4.- Application and documentation: The first author will send a copy of the article, together with their complete data, to the SCPL technical secretary (info@congresosxxi.com) detailing the subject – Alberto Masegosa Award-.
* Once received, the secretary will send an email indicating your registration number.
* If you do not receive this confirmation, contact the secretary because it means that the document has not been received correctly and, therefore, it will not be evaluated by the scientific committee.
5.- The work will be presented at the Congress of the Spanish Chapter of Phlebology and Lymphology in a space that will be determined in advance. It is an essential requirement to present it at the Congress to be eligible for the award.
6.- The Jury will be the SCPL Scientific Committee, who will assess the work based on the journal in which it has been published -impact factor-, design, scientific level, originality and relevance. His decision will be final and may be void due to lack of scientific level.
The members of the Scientific Committee will not participate in the decision when they are one of the authors of the work, that is, a colleague from the Service itself. It is the responsibility of the first author to inform the rest of the authors that the work has been presented for the Prize, as well as the decision of the Jury.
7.- The resolution of the Jury will be communicated during the SCPL Ordinary Assembly that will take place in the Congress and the Award will be presented at the Gala Dinner.
